The
Quest for the Holy Grain - Best Beer Bars |
Czech Republic |
Prague Beer Museum The Prague Beer Museum seems out of place in a neighborhood with office buildings and department stores. But it's a wonderful place. It would remind one of a Baltimore bar: one narraw storefront wide, several tables up front, a modest bar with tiny tables on the opposite wall, and two rows of tables extending quite far into the back. They have 30 local beers on tap, with the only rotation happening among any seasonals. There is also a modest selection of bottled beer. The draft beer list is in a 3 ring binder. Each beer has it's own page. The beer logo at the top, beer specifications, and a verbal description, both in Czech and English, and the price for whatever size. The tiny food selection is only bar snacks. When this Questor arrived, the place was packed with very young kids. But we were there for "shift change" and the new crowd was somewhat older. All of the young staff spoke English well. |
