Denmark

BRUS
Guldbergsgade 29F
2200 København N
T: 75 22 22 00

BRUS is a brewpub in the yuppy Norrebro area of Copenhagen, Denmark...
a cozy little place that appeared to have 7 beers on tap as well as lots of paraphenalia.
Yours truely got a beer and settled in at one of the two tables.
The room also had 6 large beer coolers with complete sets of many local beers, to drink there or to go.
Finishing my beer, I decided to explore the rest of the building. D'oh...curses, fooled again. This questor had come in the back door to the back room. The very large bar, kitchen, brewery, and patio were up front.
Here they had 20 of their own beers as well as several guests on tap..
The food menu is on the wall. When I ordered a beer, the gal asked if I wanted to start a tab. I told her I had one in the back room, she giggled and told me it was in the computer.
All was good.

Nørrebro Bryghus
Ryesgade 3,
2200 København, Denmark
+45 35 30 05 30

Nørrebro Bryghus is a brewpub in the yuppie neighborhood of Nørrebro in Copenhagen, Denmark.
On entering, one can go up the stairs or down.
Upstairs is a cozy restaurant, modern and well lit, with a smallish bar offering 10 taps. Downstairs is a barroom with rustic furniture and about 20 taps including several guests. The upstairs is open for lunch, but alas, the downstairs bar opens at Happy Hour.
The brewery is across the stairs from the bar area with a view from the restaurant mezzanine.
The menu seemed pricey, but everything in Denmark seems pricey.

Warpigs
Flæsketorvet 25
1711 Copenhagen V Denmark

Warpigs is a brewpub in the new warehouse district about 1/2 mile from downtown Copenhagen.
Warpigs was built through a collaboration between Indiana brewery 3 Floyds and Danish brewer Mikkeller.
It is actually a Bar B Que joint with one main menu item - meat.
Warpigs boasts "authentic Texas BBQ and American style beer."
One stands in the cafeteria-style line and orders one's meat of choice, and an American style side or two, then steps over to the cashier. She has a beer menu above her head so one can order beer and pay for everything at once.
The place is very long but not particularly deep. There are about 25 large picnic tables inside, and about that many outside. They have about 20 taps with mostly their own beer.
If you're hankerin' for BBQ, Warpigs advises you to arrive early...they sell out on most nights.

Brewpub
Vestergade 29
1456 Copenhagen K
Denmark

Brewpub is, as one might expect, a brewpub just off the busy tourist area in downtown Copenhagen.
Brewpub is located in a building dating back to the 17th century, and is just off the main square
(Rådhuspladsen).
The building facade looks like an apartment building, but in passing through the entry way one can see the brewing operation on the first floor.
The entry way leads to a courtyard where the bar operation is set up for the summer.
They have 8 of their own beers on tap as well as an extensive menu.
